In this Quarantine Special episode, we sit in a kitchen in July, making several incorrect assumptions: that lockdown is over and will not return; that facing away from the mics when we cough will make those coughs inaudible; and that we have the ability to deal with serious topics with even a hint of tact and sensitivity.

All episodes in this series were recorded at times when lockdown had been lifted in our areas. If you have been struggling during COVID-19 and need real support, you probably already know that that's not something we can provide. The following links will be much more helpful:

Please let us know if you think we should include any more links in the above list. We want all our fellow humans to get through this feeling happy and well, so if we can post anything here to help, we will.

Anyway, back to this episode. Here's all the art we recommended.
(Art we only mentioned in passing, and never intended as a problem-solving recommendation, is in italics.)

Corrections
  • We called the first book in the His Dark Materials trilogy "The Golden Compass", but it's called Northern Lights.
  • Karl accidentally said "Brian Paxton" when he meant "Bill Paxton" at one point in this episode.
